Rather than telling you a few random facts about myself that may or may not be interesting.
I thought I’d mention 7 important things you might need to know about me being your coach:
1️⃣ I believe that fitness should add to your life, not rule it. If you’re looking for someone to suck all the joy out of your existence and shout at you through a megaphone, I ain’t your guy.
2️⃣ I love being around people, and believe that the relationships we build and maintain hold the secrets to a long and happy life. This is one of the reasons I’m so picky with who I spend my time with (including who I work with).
3️⃣ You’d have to try reallllly bloody hard to offend me, and I still don’t think you’d be able to. My clients have been calling me names for over a decade. 🖕🏻
4️⃣ Honesty ranks up there as one of my highest values, both with ourselves and others. I believe it forms the foundation of every successful [coaching] partnership- expect it and give it freely.
5️⃣ Long term fitness success depends on a delicate balance between a tactical kick to the booty and a warm arm around the shoulder. I’m empathetic AF, with a large sprinkling of ‘don’t be shit’ for good measure.
6️⃣ I care more about your fitness progress than you might think.
7️⃣ Although I look fairly serious in this image, I ain’t. I try my hardest to not take myself, my fitness, or life for that matter, too seriously.
